Standardized Test Prep in New York City

About

Personalized. Cooperative. Effective.

Who We Are

We provide standardized test prep and academic tutoring to students of all ages in the New York City area to help students maximize their potential and reach peak performance. Our goal is to work with our students to foster independent thinkers: confident in their abilities, rigorous in their logic and reasoning, and aware of how their studies affect the world they’re in.

Our Approach:

  • Individually designed, personalized testing and academic plans that cater to the needs of each student.

  • Creative, engaging teaching strategies to maximize student buy-in.

  • A commitment to fostering values of rigor, diligence, and creative thinking in students.

  • We encourage students to take ownership over what they know, to have confidence in their education, and mobilize it towards the end of college or high school acceptance.

  • Open lines of communication between the students, tutors and family. We are always available.

  • A team-oriented approach ensure that a student is supported by the entire organization— not just a single tutor. This means that, while one tutor will primarily work with any given student, we are all actively monitoring the student’s progress.

Partner

David Rosenberg

David has been tutoring students of all ages in the New York City metropolitan area (and across the country) since 2013. David tutors the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, TACS and Regents exams, as well as the SATII Subject Tests in Literature, US History, and Math I and 2. He also guides students through the college admissions process and teaches college essay writing. He’s led Classroom programs for Harlem RBI, A Plus Academy, and Futures & Options, where he tutored the SAT, and at TECCS charter school for the Common Core elementary exams. He also has experience working with students with learning disabilities, and numerous testing accommodations, including Extra Time, Computer Assistance, and Scribes.

David works with students in elementary, middle and high school across disciplines on homework help, academic tutoring and executive functioning work. He is equally at home with creative writing work as he is with math and chemistry, and can help your student get over the hump in that one really tough class.

A native of Miami, Florida, David holds an MFA from The Juilliard School and graduated from New York University with a double major in Political Science and Drama. When not tutoring, he is an actor, playwright and screenwriter, as well as a (comparatively slow) marathon runner.
